Next destination is to the Singapore Zoo, which also known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens and commonly known as the Mandai Zoo. The Zoo was opened on 23 June 1973 and occupies 28 hectares of land. In this Zoo, there are about 315 species of animal in the zoo, of which some 16% are considered as threatened species. The animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures, separated from the visitors by either dry o wet moats.
