Brunei Darussalam

Brunei Darussalam is situated on the North - West coast of the island of Borneo. This country is divided into four districts; Brunei-Muara, Tutong, Belait and Temburong district. It has an area of 5,765 sq.km and approximately 78% of it is covered with the prestine rainforest.You will spend 3 days 2 night staying at the Orchid Garden Hotel during your visit to this small and peaceful country.

Royal Regalia Building

Our first destination is the Royal Regalia Building which situated in the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan. Inside of this building, it displays the collection of Royal Regalia, including the Royal Chariot, gold and silver ceremonial armoury, the jewel-encrusted crowns used during the coronation and a replica of the thrown which His Majesty used on state occassions. This Royal Regalia building was built to commemorate the silver jubilee anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzadin Waddaulah.

Malay Technology Museum

The second destination is the Malay Technology Museum. Situated near the Brunei Museum, this museum offers you an insight into the kind of tools ancient Bruneians used and its galleries display on ethnic Malay tribes and their lifestyles, exhibiting technologies used in Brunei during bygone eras such as boat making and silver smithing.

SOAS Mosque

Next destination will be the SOAS mosque. This mosque is named after the 28th Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien. It is located in the capital city, near to the Yayasan Comlpex. This mosque has a majestic

golden dome and represents the nation's strong faith in Islam and shows that Brunei is a peaceful country with Islam faith as its core. This mosque is built in 1958 and stands in the centre of a man-made lagoon and on it rests the 16th century royal barge known as the mahligai.

Water Village or "Kg. Ayer"

Last destination will be the most famous attraction in Brunei; water village or "Kg Ayer". "Kg. Ayer" is well-known as the "Venice of the East". It is located along the Brunei river, South of the city centre, the houses of "Kg. Ayer" is made up on stilts. During the visit, try out the local delicacies,

"ambuyat".
It is a white sticky starch made from ambulung, which is produced from rumbia tree.

Temburong district

The next day, you will be going to Temburong districts to enjoy the green and fresh of its rainforest. You will visit to Temburong using a longboat and during the journey, keep watch for monkeys in the mangroves and monitor lizards basking in the sun at low tide. You will be staying at Ulu-ulu resort for 1 nights during your visit to this district.

Peradayan Forest Recreation Park

Our first destination will be the Peradayan Forest Recreation Park. It is located about 15km from Bangar and situated within the Peradayan Forest Reserve. Our visit will include a 1.6 km forest trail that winds up and down a mountainside to the peak. This trekk will requires about 2 hours.
